PEARL JAM - NOTHINGMAN (VITALOGY)

Pearl Jam es una banda de rock formada en Seattle, Estados Unidos en el año 1990. La alineación original del grupo estaba formada por Eddie Vedder (voz), Jeff Ament (bajo), Stone Gossard (guitarra rítmica), Mike McCready (guitarra principal) y Dave Krusen (batería). El baterista en la formación actual es Matt Cameron, ex-miembro de Soundgarden, que está en el grupo desde 1998.

Formada después de la desintegración de Mother Love Bone, grupo anterior de Ament y Gossard, Pearl Jam rompería el gran mercado con su álbum debut Ten. A pesar de ser considerados como uno de los grupos clave dentro de la escena grunge al inicio de los años noventa, Pearl Jam ha sido criticado en repetidas ocasiones por ser parte del corporativo que se vendió con la explosión del rock alternativo. Sin embargo, sus miembros siempre se han caracterizado por su rechazo a adherirse a las prácticas comunes de la industria musical, como por ejemplo negarse a realizar videos promocionales o a su famoso boicot a la empresa Ticketmaster. La revista Rolling Stone los describe como un grupo que "pasó la mayor parte de la década pasada destruyendo su propia fama".

Pearl Jam es considerado uno de los grupos más importantes de la década de 1990. Desde su debut, el grupo ha vendido 30 millones de álbumes en los Estados Unidos, y un estimado de 60 millones en todo el mundo.

GRéGORY LEMARCHAL - A CORPS PERDU (JE DEVIENS MOI)

Grégory Jean-Paul Lemarchal (La Tronche, 13 de mayo de 1983 - Suresnes, 30 de abril de 2007) fue un cantante francés que ganó la cuarta temporada del programa de televisión Star Academy, emitido por la cadena TF1. Murió en abril de 2007 a causa de fibrosis quística.

OBK - AUNQUE DUERMAS JUNTO A Mí (ULTIMATUM)

OBK es un grupo de música de Techno-pop y Electro Pop barcelonés (España) formado por Jordi Sánchez y Miguel Arjona.

El 23 de octubre de 1991 consiguen publicar su primer álbum, Llámalo sueño...". El single elegido fue "Déjame comerte". Sin embargo, las radios de la época, por propia iniciativa, empezaron a radiar la cara B del single, "Oculta realidad", un temazo de puro tecno, que finalmente se convirtió en el primer sencillo oficial de OBK. Su segundo single, "De qué me sirve llorar" sirvió para que el nombre de OBK empezara a ser conocido. Pero fue en aquel verano del 92 cuando se produjo la explosión de OBK con su tercer single y, probablemente, el tema por el que OBK será recordado: "Historias de amor". Una canción que aun hoy en día se sigue poniendo de vez en cuando en fiestas, bares y discotecas, y que todo el mundo recuerda. Se puede decir que esa canción forma ya parte de la historia musical de España, por mucho que le pese a algunos.

BOYCE AVENUE - SHADOW OF THE DAY (LINKIN PARK COVER)

Boyce Avenue es una banda estadounidense de rock acústico. Se formó en Sarasota, Florida por tres hermanos Alejandro, Daniel y Fabián Manzano. La banda debe su nombre a una combinación de dos calles en las que los hermanos vivían de niños. La banda llegó por primera vez a estar juntos en 2004 cuando Daniel se mudó a Florida, después de graduarse de la escuela de derecho de Harvard, y se unió a sus hermanos Alejandro y Fabián, los cuales asistian a clases en la Universidad de la Florida.

En 2007, Boyce Avenue comenzó a publicar vídeos en YouTube, tanto de materiales originales y versiones. Algunas de estas versiones han alcanzado hasta 10.000.000 de visitas. Estas versiones se han lanzado en tres EPs digitalmente a través de su sello discográfico independiente, 3 Peace Records. Si bien tras la producción de los videos de Youtube, Boyce Avenue continuó hasta crear material original para un álbum debut titulado "All You’re Meant To Be", para su lanzamiento el 3 de marzo de 2008.

BREAKING BENJAMIN - BREATH (PHOBIA)

Breaking Benjamin es una banda de post-grunge y metal alternativo originaria de Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, con una gran influencia grunge de bandas como Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bush. El grupo ha vendido mas de 8 millones de discos en los Estados Unidos.

Formado en 1998 por Benjamin Burnley (vocalista), Jeremy Hummel (bateria) y Jonathan "Bug" Price (bajista), obtienen un fuerte seguimiento local en su estado natal, Pennsylvania. La banda debe su nombre a un incidente cuando Burnley, quien solía hacer covers de Nirvana como solista en clubes nocturnos, tiró casualmente el micrófono al suelo, rompiéndolo. La persona propietaria del micrófono en el escenario llegó y dijo: "Denle gracias a Benjamin por romper mi maldito micro". A comienzos de 1999 se hacían llamar Plan 9, pero en el 2001 la banda cambió su nombre a Breaking Benjamin. Aaron Fink y Mark Klepaski, amigos de Burnley, dejaron su anterior banda, Lifer, y se unieron a las filas de Breaking Benjamin como guitarrista y bajista respectivamente. Según la banda, el logotipo que los identifica, una variación del nudo celta, fue sugerido por un fan quién lo encontró en un libro de tatuajes. Este se puede apreciar tatuado en la muñeca izquierda de Ben Burnley, Aaron Fink y Mark James Klepaski, y en la derecha de Chad Szeliga.
